Charlie Kirk Destroys “Institutional Racism” Myth in Under 3 Min

Rachel Abrahams

The Debate on Institutional Racism in America

In a recent discussion, a thought-provoking exchange took place between a speaker and an audience member regarding the existence of institutional racism in the United States, particularly within the justice system. The audience member expressed gratitude for the opportunity to hear differing opinions, emphasizing the importance of such dialogues in reaching a consensus.

A Strong Statement on Race and Justice

The audience member began by challenging the speaker’s assertion that there is no institutional racism left in the U.S. They referenced data from the United States Sentencing Commission, which indicates that Black men are 19% more likely to receive longer sentences for similar crimes when controlling for factors such as age and income.

“I think that’s a pretty strong statement that I don’t necessarily agree with, especially in our justice system,” the audience member stated.

The Role of Legal Representation

Continuing the argument, the audience member questioned whether the quality of legal representation was considered in the study. They posed a hypothetical scenario where a high-profile individual, like LeBron James, would likely have access to superior legal counsel, highlighting income and legal quality as significant contributing factors rather than race alone.

Exploring Alternative Explanations

The speaker presented a counterpoint, arguing that disparities can be attributed to factors other than discrimination. Referencing economist Thomas Sowell’s book, “Discrimination and Disparities”, the speaker encouraged the audience to consider various non-racial factors influencing these outcomes.

“My contention is that there are other reasons to blame disparities other than discrimination,” the speaker argued.

The Importance of Family Structure

Additionally, the speaker brought attention to the influence of family structure on success rates among different racial demographics. They suggested that children from intact families, regardless of race, statistically tend to achieve greater successes in education and are less likely to commit crimes.

“Fatherhood transcends color lines,” the speaker claimed.

Conclusion and Call for Discussion

This engaging exchange raises crucial questions about the intersections of race, economics, and family structure in discussions of justice and equality. What are your thoughts on the role of institutional racism in America today? Do you think disparities in sentencing are primarily driven by race, or are there other significant factors at play? Another factor might be that the blacks had previous convictions, they conveniently leave out things like that .

Philly has a 60% minority population. The school system is a collection of school buildings that are falling apart. Lead paint, asbestos, leaking roof, antique boilers, no air conditioning. They can't get teachers or keep them. Some of PAs best school systems surround Philly. The per student funding is the problem. Philly has thousands less per student than the suburbs. The state has been sued to correct this funding issue. They have done nothing so far. Even if the state fixes the school funding inequities it will take decades to fix the Philly school system.
Institutional Racism is real and PHILLY is the face of it!

Charlie Kirk is an idiot. If a "Black". Dude is a closeted racist. "Fatherhood transcends color lines".

  4. @Happyshiningpeople12

You know, we didn’t have this race issue back in the 70s and 80s. I remember watching Soul Train and American Bandstand and Blacks and Whites danced together and sang together. What has happened over the past decade or so? OBAMA – he started the great division.

  5. @Jleed989

Blacks generally get longer sentences bc they have a longer rap sheet

  6. @memmener

Did the study also take into account previous crimes?

  7. @ChanelJanae17

So why don't black people have higher father figures? Hmm. 🤔 Maybe due to mass incarnation, lower paying jobs, job discrimination, housing discrimination, and crack epidemic. He just added onto more to this baseless claim than he knows

I learn so much from watching Charlie. Love learning this stuff🔥

Stop playing the victim take control of your own life!

The ONLY group that thinks everything is racist, are blacks. And yet they constantly talk about being treated equal as they make everything about their skin color. No other group of people focus daily on looking for some reason to scream racist to complain about. So blacks keep the racist mantra going, no other race! So much easier to blame everything is racist than actually work for what they want. Think about that and than watch the daily news for the proof…

If blacks have longer sentences, that shows that the criminal justice system serves the black community better than the white one.
Of course, if black potential criminals are concerned about long sentences, they can do something about it – stop committing crime.

  13. @G.R.M.1989

When people are sentenced it’s not just the crime they look at it’s also your criminal history they look at so if a white man and a black man commit the same crime but the white man has no criminal history but the black man has a long criminal history the black man will get a longer sentence because of his long criminal history it has nothing to do with color

I know that was uncomfortable to say. But brother, as a black man, i fully agree. Youre awesome!

  18. @derricksmith8978

Most got charged harder because they have previous charges lol

  19. @Tomf-tz4pd

I agree that one should not attribute everything to race but Charlie's argument is flawed here. The average Black Joe is not LeBron and the average Black Jane is not Oprah. Furthermore, even when person A has a Father and Mother… research shows that discrimination due to skin colour happens. There is due extremes to this … accepting that everything is due to race and denying that some things are due to race.

  20. @dlallen6621

What is the name of the book Charlie recommends?

  21. @TCthaCrisis

Income and quality of legal representation is still inherently racial. Has the wealth gap of blk ppl specifically ever been anywhere close to equal? Ever? And when it raises for black people you had things like The Black Wall Street massacre. Now decades later we just pretend that it's income based and not racial. Laughable.

  22. @paccur1252

    Charlie, are you a Zionist?

  23. @KevinM-q1l

You can’t just look at the crime committed and the outcome of the case when making a comparison to sentencing. Yes their legal representation is important but probably a more important factor is priors. If the black guy has been arrested 20 times before, yeah, he’s probably going to do jail time. And the white guy might get probation because it’s his first arrest.

  24. @gettoneinternational4154

How do you…Charlie Kirk know what individuals have been through? How can you speak for situations
where you weren't there and didn't experience? Incredibly arrogant and ignorant to paint a broad brush when you can't speak for everyone. You can only speak for yourself. For you to generalize you must have prejudice inside your heart. You talk uninspiring low vibration. At times you've indicated black communities…white communities…all this nerd low vibration communication. Only thing real is the Human Race as individuals having spiritual experiences

  25. @JamesSullivan-c8f

FATHERHOOD will always transcend color lines.
